Be Our Ambassadors
Wroc³aw will host Futurallia 2006, the 11th International Business Development Forum, which will take place in Poland for the first time. During this event, company managers will have a chance to establish strategic trade and financial contacts and initiate projects. Forum participants will also visit interesting places for investment. One such "industrial visit" will be to the Wroc³aw Industrial Park.
Tell Others About Us
The Wroc³aw Industrial Park is now the most attractive place for business development in Wroc³aw and the region. It has industrial production halls, offices, warehouses and internal roads. The whole infrastructure operates precisely under the management of Dozamel company. The Wroc³aw commune has offered support in the form of various kinds of incentives and assistance in promotional activities.
One of the Wroc³aw Industrial Park's leading assets is its convenient location not far from the city center, within an "industrial wedge" with more than 100 years of tradition. It has good connections to local roads, as well as rail and air transportation services.
Investors are also attracted by the park's operations. Dozamel's main task is to create attractive business conditions. Park clients can take advantage of a whole range of services. Apart from that, they gain several unique benefits, such as free access to the personnel database and specialist knowledge offered by the Park Academy. The park's tasks also include obtaining European Union funds from the Sector Operational Program, which is to help increase enterprise competitiveness. These funds will be used to develop the park's infrastructure.
The development of the Wroc³aw Industrial Park has become an integral element of the city's economic development strategy. The park's attractiveness will be further enhanced by developing existing facilities using the latest technology, and by integrating them into Wroc³aw's urban development plan.
The local government treats the park as an integral part of the city's investment opportunities, and presents it abroad as the best place in Wroc³aw to run a business. We want new entrepreneurs from around the world to get to know the park-hence our presence at Futurallia 2006. As part of the industrial visit, forum participants will be able to get personally acquainted with what the park offers. They will meet with companies that are already operating here, and will be given an opportunity to give their input on what they would like to see happen in the park's development. We will also meet with institutions that support business and promote international cooperation, including chambers of commerce. We will present the Wroc³aw Industrial Park in a way that hopes to encourage the guests to tell us about operations in their home countries and their expectations here in Poland.

A Unique Opportunity for Investors
Wroc³aw's municipal government helped found the Wroc³aw Industrial Park for many reasons. Firstly, we are interested in revitalizing this large industrialized area, which dates back to the 19th century. We also want to protect the most important industrial facilities, and help investors meet their goals. After the collapse and subsequent privatization of three large state-owned companies, the area around the park has again started to attract investor interest. Futurallia is an excellent opportunity to present the Wroc³aw Industrial Park's potential. Under the administration of Dozamel sp. z o.o., there are unique opportunities for investors who are looking to buy real estate in order to develop their metallurgical and energy businesses. The park also has three private colleges and a number of hi-tech companies.
As the owner of several properties, the local government is interested in increasing their value before selling them off. As of April 2006, the park has received a partial real estate tax exemption. We have accelerated investment in order to better connect the park with the airport, the downtown thoroughfare and the future Wroc³aw beltway.
It should be remembered that the creation of the park was also a formal necessity. Without this form of organization, it would be impossible to obtain EU financial assistance for the construction of new infrastructure. The roads, sewage and telecommunications systems must be adjusted to the new, more diverse ownership patterns. A project reorganizing and rearranging the park's infrastructure has already been developed and will be implemented shortly.

An Administrator Enhancing Business Development
The establishment of the Wroc³aw Industrial Park has given ALSTOM a chance to run operations in an organized industrial environment. The park's administrator, Dozamel Sp. z o.o., does promotion in the media and in chambers of industry. The Customer Service Office and the Investment and Development Office provide convenient access to industrial services, and, as a result, our company can focus on its core business. The uniform marking of the park's land, its good location in the center of a dynamically developing city, good connections with the rest of Poland and the rest of the world are among our best assets. The close proximity of companies, partners, banks and integrated crisis and rescue services are also a plus. We also like the fact that we can advise the administrator, have free access to both business knowledge from the Wroc³aw Industrial Park Academy and to the specialist database at the Internet Human Resources Bank.
Besides, Wroc³aw's City Office's firm support for the park helped us overcome problems related to the transportation of generators.

Attracting Investors
For the first time, the organization of the prestigious Futurallia has been entrusted to a city in Central and Eastern Europe. As a Lower Silesia resident and the host of the region, I am proud and honored that the organizers have chosen Wroc³aw. It is a great honor for the city and its residents. The International Business Development Forum Futurallia 2006 is not only a good occasion for small and medium-sized businesses to establish business contacts; it is also an excellent opportunity to promote the city and province as a place friendly to entrepreneurship and investors, a place that facilitates making international business contacts. This forum will also help Polish companies expand into foreign markets.
In the Wroc³aw Industrial Park managed by Dozamel Sp. z o.o., we already have an excellent example of attracting investors to Wroc³aw. It is a visiting card of Wroc³aw and the region. The area has more than 200 Polish and international companies, and more investors have expressed interest. The park is one of the projects that helps make our province a modern and attractive region.
We want to help Lower Silesia achieve the status as one of the more important and competitive economic regions in Europe. The various dynamically developing branches of the economy have effectively combined rich industrial traditions with modern technology. The general business climate attracts the biggest and best investors from around the world . Other incentives for investing in the province include the high level of education of Lower Silesians, and the good academic resources that enjoy international renown.
