The First PLATO International Networking Event (PINE) is being organized by the Mayor of Wroc³aw. More than 200 companies will participate. The initiative is being put together in cooperation with other European PLATO projects. This will be an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with leading representatives from small and medium-sized businesses from all over Europe.

For the first time, partners from different European PLATO projects will gather in one place to encourage Polish companies to develop on a European scale. It is important that the event will take place in Wroc³aw, a city with a strong network of entrepreneurs that have already participated in PLATO projects.

The event is an ideal place for companies that want to gain access to new markets and see what opportunities are offered by other EU countries.

PLATO is also a great occasion for foreign entrepreneurs to get to know the rapidly developing Polish economy and the opportunities it offers.

Knowledge of new markets and international trends in the economy
Immediately after PINE, Wroc³aw will host another big networking event, Futuralia, from May 31-June 2. It will include more than 1,000 SMEs from the world around. The goal of the meeting is to facilitate the development of strategic business and financial contacts for company managers and to launch technological cooperation.

"PLATO is an exceptional event. In a very practical way, it supports the owners of small and medium-sized businesses in their economic activity. It shows us how to deal with current business challenges. Owing to the unique partnership with big companies, they also play the role of helpers: smaller companies have a chance of winning big markets."
Janina Wo¼na, director of the Economic Development Office at the Department of Infrastructure and Economy in the Wroc³aw City Office

"At PLATO, you can take part in training sessions on developing your business in across Europe, and take advantage of the knowledge and advice of experts. By facilitating so many meetings with international players, the forum is an excellent place for establishing good business contacts."
Peter Vanduyfhuys, manager of the international PLATO management training programs for small and medium-sized enterprises, an expert in experience exchange and networking concepts for Polish SMEs
