Poland's plans to construct a nuclear energy plant can count on 42% of support, vs. 50% of strong or moderate disapprovals, survey GfK Polonia for the daily Rzeczpospolita shows.

Poland is preparing a campaign promoting nuclear energy and continues preparatory works on the investment, the daily adds.

The power plant, built by a consortium with energy company PGE, is estimated at 85-100 million zlotys and the completion date has been set for 2020.
