Poland's main opposition party PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński denied press speculations that he gathered information to discredit the potential presidential candidate of the ruling party PO, Foreign Affairs Minister Radosław Sikorski, as quoted by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
Earlier, Kaczyński told the weekly Newsweek Polska in an interview that awareness of some discrediting facts about Sikorski had caused President Lech Kaczyński doubts whether he should nominate Sikorski for the post of Foreign Affairs Minister, the daily reported.
