Non Solo Pizza

Real Italian pizza is hard to come by in Warsaw. A real pizza means one with thin, delicate crust, with tomato sauce under the toppings-not on top! Fittingly, Non Solo Pizza offers not only this most famous Italian dish, but also pasta, soups and desserts.

Pizza is baked in a wood-burning oven, and the pasta is made in-house. Non Solo Pizza is more of a restaurant bar than a restaurant. The interior is simple and decorated in warm colors. A glass pillar supporting the ceiling, filled with pasta, is an interesting accent. At the glass buffet, you can observe two busy chefs, making dough. Italian music fills the venue and an outdoor patio is separated from the street by a fence. Customers order from the cashier and the waiters deliver the meals to the tables. The system is made clear by information in Italian on the walls: Si prega di ordinare e pagare alla cassa.

The fact that the pizza is excellent is verified by the crowds that fill the venue at all times of the day. The presence of bona fide Italian guests is a further indication of the establishment's authenticity. Pizzas and pasta dishes all cost around zl.20. Apart from the chef's special, pizza non solo, you can also order pizza classics, such as bianca (four kinds of cheese, including gorgonzola and mozzarella), marinara and capriciosa. For pasta, you can choose from penne, gnocchi and spaghetti with a selection of sauces. It is also worth trying the excellent cheese soup (zl.9) and desserts, including, of course, tiramisu.
