Poland's budget deficit at end-March is expected to near 40% of the full-year goal already at the end of the first quarter and 80% at the end of the first half, a budget completion agenda released by the Finance Ministry showed.

While deficit accumulation will slow in Q3, Poland will go into the fourth quarter having spent 92% of its full-year target gap.

The 2010 budget bill is built on receipts amounting to 248.87 billion zlotys, including 223 billion zlotys in tax receipts. Spending is seen at 301.1 billion zlotys, giving a budget deficit of 52.2 billion zlotys.
