Former president and Solidarity leader Lech Wałęsa is considering whether or not to run for president in the upcoming election. He said he will hold off on his decision for another five days.

Over the next five days, I will check how many nut jobs want to ruin my homeland. If they irritate me to the maximum, I will have to step into this swamp," Wałęsa said in an interview with Radio "Trójka."

Asked about the current candidates, Wałęsa said he most respects Civic Platform (PO) leader Donald Tusk.
