The country's stats office announced yesterday that its 2008 projections of Polish population shrinking by 2.2 mln persons by 2035 were still too optimistic.
From 2014 on, the Polish population will start to shrink, and the yearly number of newborns will fall from the 400k at present to 300k in 15 years, the daily writes.
