Edition 2006
More than 800 companies from some 40 countries will be in Cologne to exhibit their wares at the Orgatec trade fair Oct. 24-28. The fair will take place at the Cologne Exhibition Center, which has been completely renovated and modernized as part of Koelnmesse's Master Plan 2006. The fair will focus on four areas: furnishing, lighting, flooring and acoustics. Orgatec organizes a comprehensive program that provides exhibitors and visitors alike with everything they need to know about the latest developments and trends in office design and organization, generating momentum for future business. One of the fair's highlights is Ultima Office, which will present office of the future.
Practically the entire world market will be represented in Cologne. Nearly all the market leaders will attend Orgatec this year, and exhibitors from abroad are expected to account for approximately 60 percent of those present. Orgatec displays products and services for the entire office-from planning and designing all the way to management.
Planning includes all the services needed before an office is opened, including site selection, consulting, financing and architectural services. Designing involves developing solutions for furnishing, lighting, floors, walls, ceilings, and acoustics. Management includes all the services needed to operate a business site, including property management.
Mirroring their position in the market, Italian companies will present the second-largest number of products and services, after the Germans. Large contingents from Spain, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Taiwan will also be present. There will be a series of joint presentations that primarily include small and medium-sized businesses from abroad. Group stands for companies from China, Italy, Malaysia, Spain and Taiwan are being prepared.
