Twin Talent
An unusual duo, pianists Krzysztof Jab這雟ki and Kevin Kenner (pictured above), will perform in the last concert of the Mozart 1756-2006 series, taking place Sept. 24 in the Grand Hall of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

Both Jab這雟ki and Kenner are well known to Warsaw's music lovers. Both won praise in the Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. In 1985, Jab這雟ki won third prize during the 11th competition. Kenner, an American, came away with the special jury prize for the most promising pianist during the 10th competition in 1980. A decade later he returned to finally win the Chopin Competition.
Jab這雟ki has been a professor at the Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw since 2004. He runs master courses and judges international piano competitions. In 2005, he was on the jury of the 15th Chopin competition. Kenner, meanwhile, has been a professor at the Royal College of Music in London for the last four years. He is also a jury member at many international Chopin competitions across the world.
