The conflict between the Defense Ministry and the presidential chancellery over who is to blame for the irresponsible organization of the Polish delegation transport to Smolensk on April 10 continues.

The heads of the two institutions are accusing each other for negligence in allowing so many high state officials fly in one plane and increased the proportions of the tragedy of the plane's crash, the daily Polska writes.

The Defense Minister Bogdan Klich maintains that he did not have the full knowledge about the lineup of the delegation and that in line with the relevant regulations, the Defense Ministry merely gives its planes at the chancellery's disposal once the latter requests it.

Defense Ministry was informed about all the details of the transport of the Polish delegation, presidential minister Jacek Sasin said. It is up to the Defense Ministry to decide which plane takes the Polish delegation, the former head of the chancellery of the late Presdient, Elzbieta Jakubiak said.
