One of the hottest spots on the Warsaw party route is the Hotl Club. This luxury nightclub with a modern interior is situated inside the legendary Europejski Hotel. It shares the address with its sister venue, the Hotl Jazz restaurant, to which it is connected by a passage. Both places are frequented by celebrities, Polish showbusiness personalities and a PR and advertising crowd. The Hotl is also popular with foreign visitors.

"The greatest of the Hotl Club assets, the thing that makes it stand out from the rest, is the music," said the Hotl's art manager Michał Lachur-Kolumpar. "We guarantee our guests diverse styles of club music, from funky house, deep house and soulful house to electro and R&B on Fridays in the chillout area." The area, which is a lounge with lighter music, is said to be the largest in Poland.

One Friday a month is reserved for the "Exclusive Night" series of fancy-dress parties. Previous events have included a Caribbean night and a party in the style of prewar Warsaw cabarets of the 1920s and 30s. The theme Nov. 24 will be "There she was... back to the 50s and 60s," with the music and fashions of those decades. Costumes should be based on the Grease musical. "Every party at the Hotl features a different kind of music and each DJ only plays once a month, so that the guests never get bored," Lachur-Kolumpar said.

The club's stylish interior is saturated with warm colors, such as burgundy red, chocolate and dark wood, and has spotlights, soft sofas and comfortable sections with ceiling-high backrests. Throughout the summer, the Hotl Club had its own "beach" in a fenced off section of the yard complete with sand and a typical beach bar.

While the Hotl Club was primarily designed as a weekend party venue, you can also get a meal here. It serves international cuisine, including spicy Hungarian soup, tortilla with lettuce and fried bacon, and grilled sandwiches.
