The Polish government will probably pass the multi-year financial plan, including expected budget deficit levels, borrowing needs, fiscal policy directions and basic macroeconomic indicators, at a special sitting on Friday, July 30, a governmental source told PAP.
The plan constitutes a basis for the following years' budget act drafts. The budget deficit in a given year cannot exceed the level assumed in the plan.
The plan is updated by the government on an annual basis, two months ahead of the budget act announcement, and includes a forecast for the next two years.
