Minister Pawlak Calls for General Security Act

Waldemar Pawlak (L) and Agriculture Minister Marek Sawicki (P), during press conference on aid to flood victims

Deputy PM and economy minister Waldemar Pawlak Wednesday suggested the passage of a general safety law to regulate aid to disaster victims.

According to Pawlak current laws to not provide a comprehensive disaster response system and in effect aid to victims is haphazard and organized anew with each incident.
