Voter support for the governing party PO increased by 4 pps to 52%, while its main rival PiS stayed flat at 35%, a poll by the GfK Polonia researcher for the daily Rzeczpospolita shows.

Junior coalition party PSL's support edged down by 1 pp to 3%, below the 5% threshold needed in a general election for lower house representation.

Left-wing party SLD also saw its support drop 1 pp to 8%.
The survey was conducted in form of face-to-face interviews in September 1-6 on a sample of 1,000 adult Poles.
