Protesters in Ukraine's eastern industrial city of Donetsk demonstrated against the Sept. 1 opening of the first Ukrainian-language school in the city of 1.5 million. The protesters said the school was an attempt at "forced Ukrainization" of the region, which is mainly Russian-speaking.
