Kędzierzyn-KoĽle Industrial Park (KKPP)

Article's tools:

Strategic Location

In the heart of continental Europe
  • Population of 250 million within a 1,000-km radius
  • Part of the Trans European Network
  • Competitive cost base offers significant location benefits

Poland's geographic location - in the heart of Europe - creates a number of opportunities, attracts investment from Western Europe as well as from the US and Asia. It also facilitates logistics activities related to the export of goods to all locations in Europe and to countries outside Europe. There are air, road, railway and sea connections with all major European capital cities.

Poland is situated between the highly developed Western European countries and Eastern Europe with such growing markets as Russia and the Ukraine.

Opole Province Governor Ryszard Wilczyński:
Opole province is an investor-friendly region that is open to new business. We will support all new investment projects.

I expect that the new, large area of the Pole Południowe KKPP, designated for greenfield projects, will take just a few quarters to complete.

Kędzierzyn-KoĽle Mayor Wiesław F±fara:
The industrial tradition and infrastructure of Kędzierzyn-KoĽle offers opportunities for many entrepreneurs from various sectors.

The city is located along main transportation routes, near the international airport in Katowice.

The proximity of universities and technical colleges, together with a developed network of vocational and high schools of various specialties, make it easier for investors to select qualified staff.

Local authorities are pursuing an investor-friendly policy, providing exemptions from real estate tax.

It is not accidental, then, that our motto is "Kędzierzyn-KoĽle: A City of Opportunities."

Opole Province Chairman Józef Sebesta:
The economic development of Opole province is a priority task of the local government authorities. In 2007-2013, our province will earmark nearly one-third of the money we obtain from the EU for that purpose. We know that it is most important for the region's development to stimulate enterprise. We are attaching special weight to gaining new investors, in particular those bringing in new technology. The location of Opole province on important transportation routes and its good transport infrastructure encourage potential investors to work with us.

I am convinced that the Pole Południowe KKPP, after it is provided with all utilities, will be one of most attractive business locations in the region, and that leading investors will appear here in the near future. This is a good business opportunity.

Investments in K-K industrial Park enable direct and easy access to:

Thanks to the availability of EU funds, the Trans-European Network as well as national roads are being constructed and upgraded.
