The time is past when only women bought cosmetics for men. Men are becoming increasingly aware of their own appearance and what cosmetics they need. They no longer feel ashamed of either purchasing cosmetics or using them.

"More and more often we see men in drugstores and perfumeries, domains that until now were reserved almost exclusively for women," says Sephora Artistic Director Sergiusz Osmański. "Since macho men such as soccer player David Beckham and actor Clive Owen both advertise cosmetics, men have realized that being well groomed does not mean a loss of masculinity. Why are we promoting a range of sports cosmetics brands for active men? Because they will not only improve a man's appearance but will cheer him up on gray winter days."
