Polish film critics have handed out their Golden Reels awards for the best Polish and foreign films shown in Poland last year.

The Golden Reel for best Polish film was awarded to Sztuczki (Tricks) directed by Andrzej Jakimowski. 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, directed by Cristian Mungiu from Romania, won the Golden Reel for best foreign film. An honorable mention was given to I Served the King of England, directed by Czech Jiri Menzel.

The Golden Reels have been awarded since 1985 by film critics who are members of the Independent Writers' Circle within the Polish Film Producers Association and the Polish division of the International Federation of Film Critics.
