Caroling With Stars

More than 300 children from poor families gathered at Polish Radio 3's Agnieszka Osiecka Studio in Warsaw Jan. 10 to take part in the seventh annual "Nativity Play with a Star."

This charity event was organized by the Time Art Association, and this year's star was Polish pop singer Natalia Kukulska. She wowed the pint-sized audience with her renditions of some of the finest Polish Christmas carols.

The event, hosted by popular radio and television reporter Michał Olszański, featured a nativity play staged by a group of Warsaw high school students. Another highlight of the evening was a children's song and dance ensemble named Fasolinki.

"The artists always perform for free," said Artur Wolski of the Time Art Association. "It's a wonderful opportunity for us to show a little heart and warmth to the children and give them presents donated by generous sponsors."

This year's event was sponsored by a long list of businesses and individuals, and the Voice was, as usual, a "media patron."
