Pianist and satirist Waldemar Malicki will appear in Warsaw's Roma Theater Jan. 28 to perform one of his most popular shows, Filharmonia Dowcipu (Philharmonic Humor).

Malicki performs all over the world. He has released 38 albums, including some solo pieces in which he plays his own interpretation of Polish composer Karol Szymanowski's work. He has won many international competitions. For many years he played in duet on the piano with his wife Tamara Granat. They called themselves Duo Granat.

At the Roma, Malicki will perform sketches and songs that he has created together with Jacek Kęsik. The almost three-hour show includes musical jokes and surprising tunes of refined pastiche.

Jan. 28 , Roma Theater, 49 Nowogrodzka St.
7 p.m., Tickets: zl.75, 85 and 120
