Polish folk band Kapela ze Wsi and African group Ba Cissoko will hold a joint performance at the TR Warszawa theater Feb. 3.

Kapela ze Wsi was set up in 1997 and a year later was the winner of the "New Tradition" Folk Music Radio Competition. The band combines motifs from Polish folk culture with rock sounds.

The Guinean Ba Cissoko quartet creates two sounds on stage, one acoustic and the other electric, in which the African kora harp mixes with elements of rock, reggae and blues.

Feb. 3, TR Warszawa, 8 Marszałkowska St.
8 p.m., tickets: www.trwarszawa.pl
