Boasting a sound somewhere between hard rock and Polish-style heavy metal, TSA will play Feb. 28 at Warsaw's student club Park. The band, formed in 1979, was a Polish pioneer of heavy sound.

In the 1980s, TSA played at legendary Polish rock festivals in Jarocin and gave concerts in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Soviet Union. They also recorded the English-language albums Spunk and Heavy Metal World.

In 2001 the band reappeared on stage. They released the Proceder album that was named Album of the Year 2004 in a vote on Polish Radio, and in 2005 carried out a short tour of the United States.

Feb. 28 , Park Club, 196 Niepodległości Ave., 8 p.m., tickets zl.25, 28
