The new Maxdata Belinea s.book 1 combines quality, innovation and elegance. This 230 x 171 x 29.4 mm mini-notebook weighs in at just 1 kg. It has a 7-inch 840 x 480 WVGA display and a detachable Skype module that lets you make phone calls on the run. The Belinea s.book 1 comes with a VIA C7-M ULV 1.2 GHz processor, a VIA VX700 chipset with a VIA UniChrome Pro II IGP graphics module, 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM memory and an 80 GB hard disk. The device operates under the Microsoft Windows XP system, offers 802.11 b/g WiFi, Bluetooth and 10/100 Ethernet connectivity. It has a DVI port, two USB 2.0 ports, a microphone port and a loudspeaker port. Add to this a long battery operation time and you have the ideal business traveling companion.

Highly Sensitive

The light, compact and easy-to-use Cyber-shot S730 is just the ticket for the budding photographer. The camera has a Sony 3x zoom lens and a 7.2 megapixel matrix that can produce high-quality images even at A3 size. Viewing photos and camera settings is easy thanks to the 2.4-inch LCD display. The high sensitivity (ISO 1250) function lets you take sharp pictures in poor light without a flash.

Creative Sound

Creative's GigaWorks T40 speaker system lets music lovers enjoy a superlative sound experience from their desktop computers, notebooks and MP3 players. GigaWorks introduces advanced HiFi technology to computer speakers in a compact and elegant design. The GigaWorks T40 system has a Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange (MTM) driver configuration that improves audio balance and gives a deeper and richer bass tone. BasXPort technology delivers an enhanced bass sound without a subwoofer.

Dodge's High Caliber Compact

Dodge's Caliber range, introduced by Chrysler's U.S. subsidiary last year, look more like SUVs than the compact vehicles they so modestly claim to be. The well-toned body is 4,415 mm long, 1,800 mm high and 1,535 mm wide. The interior is spacious and functional with compartments for all sorts of things including phones, MP3 players and drinks coolers. The dashboard is large and ergonomically designed and the instrument panel is well lit and conveniently laid out. ABS, ESP, aluminum rims, air-conditioning, cruise control and a radio/CD player are standard.

The Caliber comes in SE, SXT, R/T and SRT4 versions. The first three have a GEMA 14 engine varying from 148 bhp to 172 bhp or a 140 ps (138 bhp) Volkswagen Common Rail Diesel (CRD). The CRD engine can accelerate to 100 kph from a standing start in 9.3 seconds and, according to the manufacturer, fuel consumption averages 6.1 liters per 100 km. The SRT4 (4 cylinder Street and Racing Technology) has a 303 ps (299 bhp) turbocharged GEMA 14 engine.
