Kult have been a fixture on Poland's musical landscape since 1982 and they are just as popular today as they were back then, especially as a live act. Kult are returning to Warsaw's Stodoła Club, where they have often performed over the years, March 7 for their first 2008 gig.

Kult started out playing punk rock which has gradually morphed into straight-ahead rock. Their influences are eclectic and include reggae and poetry and their trademark sound owes much to Kazik Staszewski's distinctive voice and provocative lyrics.

Kult targeted the communist party apparatus back in the 1980s. Once the system collapsed, they turned their sights to pseudo-democrats, clericalists and large financial corporations.
