My Iceland: In the Land of Fire and Ice

Article's tools:

For one month, the Lower Silesia Center for Cultural Information hosted an exhibition of photos that Maja Husko, a young artist from £ód¼, took in Iceland, the "land of fire and ice." The photos met with an enthusiastic reception from the residents of Wroc³aw and visitors to the city. The photos showed the beauty and soul of Iceland. The opening of the exhibition was attended by crowds of people willing to discover the country through the lens of Husko's cameras.

"I would love to return there, to my Iceland," Husko said. "The atmosphere of the island brings out a range of emotions, opens your eyes and takes your breath away." The exhibition was about art in its purest form. There was no room for commercial works. Apart from art, Husko has a passion for traveling and extreme sports.
