Pianist and vocalist Peter Cincotti, whose rendition of Dizzy Gillespie's song "A Night in Tunisia" claimed an award at the 2000 Montreux Jazz Festival, is coming to Warsaw to perform as part of the Jazz raz po raz (Jazz Time and Again) series of concerts.

Cincotti is considered to be one of the most important figures in contemporary jazz, alongside Norah Jones, Chris Botti and Michael Bublé. Fans admire him for going his own way rather than pandering to the demands of record labels or popular taste.

Cincotti's first, eponymous album in 2005 was a compilation of traditional jazz pieces, while his second album, On the Moon, contained compositions Cincotti penned himself. His latest project, East of Angel Town, is slated for a May release in the United States.
