Hoża St. Vaunts Cultural Credentials
April 16, 2008
Article's tools:

Four Warsaw galleries-the Raster, the Leto, the Hoża and the Graphic and Poster Gallery-have joined forces to launch the first Hoża Street Day April 19. Boasting old buildings and plenty of greenery, Hoża Street is an oasis of peace in the crowded and noisy center of Warsaw. It also has clubs, galleries and antique shops.

The Hoża Street Day, named "Hożarty" in Polish, aims to attract residents to the district and sample its cultural attractions. Galleries are preparing an outdoor series of events for April 19 focused on Warsaw and Hoża Street, including projections of images on buildings, mural painting workshops and fire juggling shows.
