April 23, 2008 By A.R.
Article's tools:

International payments service provider PayUp has entered the Polish market and served notice that it intends to become the country's leading electronic transaction services provider. The company has already set up 3,000 terminals across Poland to enable hassle-free electronic financial transactions and plans to expand this number to 6,500 by the end of the year.

PayUp Polska was set up as a joint venture between the Netherlands' PayUp Holding and Poland's own Eurocash Group. The company plans to provide a wide array of safe and innovative electronic payment services. PayUp will start off by providing electronic mobile top up before expanding into bill payment and other pre-paid services. The company's long term plans include launching financial services already available at retail chains via terminals.
