Russian pop star Dima Bilan is coming to Poland to sing at Warsaw's Palladium Club May 2.

Bilan's career has moved at an astronomical pace since his debut during the Novaya Volna festival in Russia in 2002. He received two prestigious music awards in 2005, one from the MTV Russia channel and the other from MTV Europe for best Russian artist. He also won three MTV Awards 2007 for best song, best album and best performer. In May 2006, he won second place in the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens with the song "Never Let You Go." Bilan has again been selected to represent Russia this year and will perform his new number "Believe" in Belgrade May 22. He has released three albums to date, Ya nochnoy hooligan (2003), Na beregu neba (2004) and Vremya Reka (2006). Many songs from these albums were top of the Russian music charts for a long time. Bilan works with some of the best people in showbiz, including lyrics writer Jim Bezan, who has written hits for the likes of Britney Spears and Nelly Furtado, and Grammy Award-winning American record producer and composer Timbaland.
