Skilled blue-collar workers, drivers, technicians and engineers are the most sought-after employees in Poland, according to a survey conducted among employers by recruitment agency Manpower.

The agency has found that 49 percent of Poland's businesses have difficulty recruiting employees with the required qualifications. There is a particular shortage of electricians, carpenters and welders because many have left the country to work abroad. Besides, there is a mismatch between education and labor market needs, Manpower says.
