Concerts for Children
May 14, 2008
Article's tools:

With Children's Day (June 1) around the corner, the city of Warsaw is organizing two Magical Music concerts for children at the Kongresowa Hall May 27.

The concerts will be multimedia events that are designed to "engage the youngest audience in active listening," City Hall says. Scenes from Walt Disney movies will be screened together with live music played by the Polish Radio Orchestra under acclaimed conductor Łukasz Borowicz.

The Magical Music project is an educational program that seeks to make classical music accessible and relevant to children, City Hall says. Musicians perform multimedia concerts exploring the relationship between film and music. The performances are designed to appeal to children's imagination and help them learn more about how an orchestra works.

The event is jointly organized by Trinity Entertainment.
