Polpharma to take over Kazakh drug maker Chimpharm

Poland's biggest pharmaceutical firm Polpharma will sign a contract on the purchase of a majority stake in listed Kazakh drug maker Chimpharm, the daily Puls Biznesu writes citing anonymous sources.
Chimpharm operates under the Santo brand name and its market valuation is PLN 155.7 million.
Kazakhstan is market with a low consumption and big growth potential, according to Polpharma's CEO Jerzy Starak.
