Euro 2008 Helpline Launched

The European Union and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have launched a toll-free helpline for fans traveling to the Euro 2008 soccer championships in Austria and Switzerland. The number is 00 800 678 910 11, available in all EU countries and languages from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

The helpline will be open throughout June to answer all kinds of inquiries concerning problems connected with airline schedules, match ticketing, shopping, medical help, passenger and consumer rights, international mobile phone call rates, insurance and more.

Callers from non-EU countries, including Switzerland, should dial +32-2-299 96 96.
