The sounds of Chopin can be heard at Warsaw's Royal Łazienki Park in a series of free concerts that draw thousands of fans of Poland's famous composer. The concerts are being performed in front of Frederic Chopin's monument in the park Sundays at noon and 4 p.m. until Sept. 28.

The performances, which started in 1959, have become a tradition. Every event attracts more than 3,000 people, both locals and tourists.

This year visitors will be able to listen to world renowned pianists, winners of the most prestigious piano festivals and competitions, as well as musicians who are making their debut. There will be pianists from Italy, Greece, Hungary, Japan and the United States.
