Russian singer Dima Bilan is coming to Poland to sing at the Kongresowa Hall in Warsaw June 29, fresh after his success in the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade in May.

Bilan has a reputation as one of the most dynamic pop acts in Russia. His career took off with his debut at the Novaya Volna festival in Russia in 2002. He works with the best, including lyricist Jim Bezan, who has written hits for Britney Spears and Nelly Furtado, and American record producer and composer Timbaland.

Bilan received two prestigious awards in 2005, one from the MTV Russia channel and the other from MTV Europe for best Russian artist. He also won three MTV Awards 2007 for best song, best album and best performer.

In May 2006, he came second in the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens with the song "Never Let You Go." This year he was once more selected to represent Russia and won with an energetic rendition of the song "Believe."

Bilan has released three albums to date, Ya nochnoy hooligan (2003), Na beregu neba (2004) and Vremya Reka (2006), which have spawned a string of chart-toppers.
