The Sofitel Victoria Hotel hosted connoisseurs of fine food and French wines at a Bourgogne lunch tasting session June 12.

A special menu prepared by chef Olivier Croso of the Canaletto Restaurant included red tuna tartar with black sesame, crispy mixed Provencal-style vegetables, spicy duck breast, and grilled veal stuffed with bacon.

The delicacies were accompanied by good wines, including Volnay 1er Cru 2001, Volnay 1er Cru Les Caillerets 1991, and Volnay 1er Cru 1976.
