American R&B, soul, and jazz singer and songwriter Jill Scott gives a concert July 9 in the Kongresowa Hall of Warsaw's Palace of Culture and Science. Together with Erykah Badu and Angie Stone, Jill Scott is considered one of the three most important singers of soul and R&B music in the world.

She has been nominated for Grammy awards 12 times and won three times. She has five albums to her name. World fame came with hits such as "Golden," "Gettin' in the Way," "It's Love," "Slowly Surly," "A Long Walk," "Cross My Mind" and "Hate on Me." Scott's first DVD album, of her 2007 Live in Paris concert, came out at the beginning of this year. In February she was one of the presenters at the Grammy Awards ceremony and herself received her third Grammy award for the song "Daydreaming" that she recorded for Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor album.
