This summer, you can take a free guided sightseeing tour of Warsaw's Praga district in a historic streetcar. The rides start every Saturday in July and August at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. The streetcar can only seat 30 people at a time, so make sure to grab your place on time.

The tour starts from Narutowicza Square and then the streetcar takes its passengers along Jerozolimskie Avenue across Poniatowskiego Bridge to the Praga part of Warsaw, riding down Zieleniecka Avenue and Targowa and Kijowska streets through the Michałów and Szmulowizna quarters to the Kawęczyńska terminus. It then returns to Targowa Street and crosses the center of Old Praga to Wileński Square. The streetcar makes its final stop near the Praski Park.

The sightseeing program has been prepared by Michał Pilich, a Warsaw culture expert specializing in Praga. Pilich has written Warszawska Praga (Warsaw Praga), a guidebook with colorful descriptions of the district. The program is packed with anecdotes and interesting facts.
