The board of the Henryk Wieniawski Poznań-Ławica Airport has announced new investment plans in the run-up to major international events such as the United Nations Climate Conference this December and the Euro 2012 soccer championships. The company will spend zl.334 million on investment between 2008-2012.

Over recent years the airport has undergone a major transformation, adding regular and chartered flights to many European countries to its range of domestic connections. The airport expects to serve more than a million passengers this year, and 2.5 million in 2012.
