It's a Dog's Life
July 30, 2008
Article's tools:

The Dog in the City exhibition at Warsaw's Kordegarda Gallery seeks to stir up a debate on the role of dogs in contemporary cities.

The exhibition comprises works by artists-Katarzyna Cichoń, Tatiana Czekalska and Leszek Golec, Janek Koza, Maksymilian Łukomski, Wojtek Pustoła, and Małgorzata Sołtysiak-who employ photography, film, drawings, comic strips, painting and sculptures to show the everyday life of the contemporary city by focusing on dogs and their owners. Some of the dogs are pampered and treated like family members, while others are abandoned and stray, running free on the streets.

Open through Sept. 7, Kordegarda Gallery, 15/17 Krakowskie Przedmieście St.
