E-Learning Center in the Works

Polish business school Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu/National-Louis University has made a deal with British company MyKnowledgeMap to jointly establish an e-learning consulting center known as the European Institute for Technology in Education (EITE).

The center will be based in the southern Polish city of Nowy S±cz and will be built over the next five years. MyKnowledgeMap, founded in 2000, specializes in modern education technology. The company's clients have included the British Council, Leeds University, various local governments in Britain, and the British Foreign Office.

Rob Arntson, general manager of MyKnowledgeMap, said the agreement with Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu/National-Louis University "is one of the crucial moments for the development of e-learning in Poland and in the region."

Krzysztof Pawłowski, president of WSB/NLU, said, "With this agreement, Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu/National-Louis University is entering a completely new area of expertise. We have grown from a university that uses e-learning into a provider of modern e-learning technology."
