Iron Maiden
August 13, 2008
Article's tools:

British rock icons Iron Maiden had a crowd of 25,000 moshing in the aisles at Warsaw's Gwardia stadium Aug. 7. The band ripped straight into flawless renditions of old faves like "Aces High," "2 Minutes to Midnight," "Wasted Years", leaving the crowd wasted.

The gig threatened to turn into a 50th birthday bash for lead singer Bruce Dickinson when the crowd started singing Happy Birthday. The Maiden could not really head bang to that so they hit back with "Can I Play With Madness" "The Trooper" and "Run to the Hills" instead. No hype, no posing, just good solid metal and the crowd lauded every minute of it.
