Appointment at CEE Property Group
Mirosław Barszcz joined CEE Property Group in September as head of the company's reports and analysis department. He is responsible for the development of new projects within the group.

In the 1990s Barszcz worked for international consulting firms including Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In December 2005 he was appointed undersecretary of state in the Polish Ministry of Finance responsible for tax law. In 2006-2007 he worked as an independent expert and head of teams developing the government's family and residential construction policies. In August last year he was appointed minister of construction and held that post until the new government took over three months later.

New MD for ECE Polska
Rafał Twarowski is the new managing director of ECE Projektmanagement Polska. Together with Knut Volquardsen, who previously headed the company, they form the management board of ECE Projektmanagement Polska and are responsible for its operations in Poland.

Twarowski is also responsible for the development of new projects, including shopping and multifunction centers in the central areas of Polish cities.

Before joining ECE, Twarowski was vice-president and development director at Apsys Polska and earlier held managerial posts at Tebodin SAP-Projekt, NDI SA, Elin EBG Elektrotechnika, and Elektromontaż Gdańsk.

Twarowski also works as an independent expert for Polish parliamentary committees. He is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk's Management Department.

ECE Projektmanagement is a major commercial real estate investor and developer in Europe.

New Employees at CB Richard Ellis
- Agnieszka Wierzchowska has been appointed senior property valuer at CB Richard Ellis Polska. She will be responsible for the valuation of various types of properties including shopping centers, industrial properties, and office and residential buildings.

Wierzchowska joined CB Richard Ellis Polska from DTZ Polska, where she was employed as a property valuer. She graduated from the Poznań University of Economics in management and marketing, and has been a certified property valuer since 2002.

- Marek Kiwak joined CB Richard Ellis' Industrial and Logistics Team as a senior property negotiator. He will be responsible for leasing and marketing strategies, site acquisition and consultancy work for CBRE's industrial and logistics clients.

Kiwak graduated from the University of Warsaw Department of Law and Administration and also completed postgraduate studies in property management. He previously worked at JLL and Emmerson, specializing in industrial real estate, and prior to that worked in the real estate management department at Warsaw City Hall.

- Piotr Buchwald recently joined the CB Richard Ellis Industrial and Logistics Team as a property negotiator. He will be mainly responsible for handling relations with international clients as well as the leasing and marketing of industrial warehouse and logistics projects across Poland.

Buchwald previously worked in the CBRE Research and Consultancy Team as a research analyst responsible for market analysis and consultancy work for some of CBRE's largest clients.

Before joining CBRE Buchwald worked for Ernst & Young. He graduated from Cracow's Jagiellonian University, majoring in international and political studies. He also completed studies in philosophy and humanities at the University of Granada.
