New Blaupunkt Video Navigation
Blaupunkt has launched its latest advanced navigation system, the TravelPilot 700. The device offers navigation, communication and multimedia functions. It comes with the voice control function and a Bluetooth interface that makes using a cell phone while driving safer. It is the world's first such device to show a realistic image of the road on a color display. Its integrated camera can also detect speed limit signs.

Everything You Could Wish For?
"Omnia" means "everything" in Latin, and it also means "wish" in Arabic. This is the name of the latest Samsung telephone with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system.

Omnia offers some personal computer functions: the user can access MS Office documents, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word files. It is also possible to use electronic mail and manage the calendar in MS Outlook. The panoramic WQVGA LCD 3.2-inch display provides comfort while viewing photographs, films and video clips. The device supports the DivX and Xvid film compression formats. The Omnia comes with a 5-megapixel CMOS camera with Autofocus, Face Detection, Smile Shot and automatic panoramic shot functions.

Longines HydroConquest
HydroConquest is intended to become the preferred watch for divers and enthusiasts of the open seas. The proof lies in this model fitted with the L667 automatic self-winding mechanical movement (Valjoux 7750), producing 28,800 alternations per hour and offering a power reserve of 46 hours. Its silvered dial, embellished with a "big 12" and luminescent indices, shows the date, hour and minutes and has a seconds subdial at 9 o'clock.

This model in the HydroConquest range has a case in stainless steel, a unidirectional turning bezel with numerals in relief, and lateral protection for the crown. It is water resistant to 300 meters.

Works Even if You Drop It
The VAIO Z series Sony notebook owes its unique appearance to the cylindrical hinge joining the notebook's main unit with the display. The hinge holds the battery and has the power input on one end and the on/off button on the other. The casing is made of carbon fiber, an advanced material used in Formula 1 car races and the aviation industry. As a result, the device is durable and light: it weighs less than 1.5 kilograms and will survive a drop from 72 cm while working or 90 cm when switched off. It comes with a 13.1-inch 1600x900 pixel display, a 320 GB hard disk, and an Intel Core Duo P8600 processor.
