Eating in the Dark
The Novotel Warszawa Centrum hotel reopened its Dans le Noir? (In the Dark) restaurant Sept. 17. The name of the establishment is a reference to the idea of eating in total darkness.
Guests at Dans le Noir? are taken care of by blind people who also serve them dishes. In London and Paris, restaurants of this kind have reportedly attracted over 150,000 guests.
The Dans le Noir? restaurant at the Novotel Warszawa Centrum was originally launched in March and operated until June as a pilot project, which proved enormously popular.
Dinners at Dans le Noir? come with extra attractions. On selected nights, restaurant guests get to hear music concerts or can have a relaxing head and neck massage.
Dans le Noir? at the Novotel, Warszawa Centrum, Open through Dec. 20, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (reservation required) -7 p.m., first session, Saturdays (no reservation required) -7 p.m.-10 p.m.
