The animated three-dimensional movie Fly Me to the Moon 3D will open at theaters across Poland from Oct. 10. Until recently, the 3D technology employed in the movie was only available at theaters with digital projectors and on IMAX screens. The latest developments, such as special film and 3D glasses, are making the technology increasingly accessible for regular theaters. Fly Me to the Moon 3D is the first animated movie to be shown in 3D in most cinemas across Poland. The largest studios in the United States are announcing that next year will see a big increase in the number of 3D productions.

Young viewers are sure to be impressed by Fly Me to the Moon 3D, with its highly realistic computer animations and innovative use of 3D effects. Adults may also be impressed. The fantastic images do a lot to make up for the simple plot which probably wouldn't make the grade in a regular film confined to two dimensions. The main characters are Nat, IQ and Scooter, three adolescent, somewhat unruly but charming flies. They dream of traveling into space. One day, the parents of the three find their kids are missing. The trio have gone to Cape Canaveral. So begins an exciting voyage into space which for the tiny crew members will become much more than just a fun ride.
