American vocalist Alicia Keys, a nine-time Grammy Award winner, will give a concert at the Torwar arena in Warsaw Oct. 15, promoting her latest album entitled As I Am. The Warsaw date is a stop on the artist's latest tour of Europe.

Keys was born in 1982 in New York City. Her career was largely directed by her mother Terri Agugello, who made sure her daughter attended piano classes and received a good education in music.

Keys wrote her first songs at the tender age of 14 and by the time she turned 24, she had nine Grammies and lots of other awards under her belt. Some of her greatest hits include "Fallin'," "No One," "A Woman's Worth," "Girlfriend," and "You Don't Know My Name."
