EM Lab, an agency specializing in "experiential" marketing, signed two contracts recently, with Kamand and Sport4U. The companies will be able to use the EM Lab logo and know-how and in return will transfer some of their markup from new clients to EM Lab. The contracts will allow EM Lab to increase the territorial reach of its services and use new forms of outdoor advertising in its advertising campaigns.

"Thanks to our contract with kamand we will be able to reach customers from cities like Cracow, Poznań and Wrocław," says Julian kozankiewicz, president of EM Lab. "Kamand specializes in marketing-related events and enjoys a very strong position in these cities."

The company expects to make a gross profit of zl.200,000 as a result of this contract. "We base our estimates on the contract's provisions which state that EM Lab and Kamand will share the markup generated by projects brought in by Kamand," says Kozankiewicz. "Sport4U, on the other hand, has some very exciting locations for their advertising vehicles that we will now be able to use in our campaigns. By using the EM Lab logo, Sport4U will be able to expand its customer base."

EM Lab expects to achieve a gross profit of about zl.400,000 in 2009 under this contract.

In 2007 the company's sales grew by over 200 percent, to zl.15.8 million, resulting in a gross profit of zl.1.5 million (a growth rate of over 40 percent). EM Lab's forecast for 2008 assumes incomes of zl.20.5 million (29-percent growth) and a gross profit of zl.2.05 million (34-percent growth).

EM Lab debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange's alternative market on July 24, and is currently using the funds obtained from selling its shares on carrying out its previously announced plans. The company has acquired 10 percent of shares in Eskadra for zl.120,000, conducted a study assessing the effectiveness of the methods used in experiential marketing, and is looking into further acquisitions.
