Euro Conversion Delayed?

Poland is facing a growing likelihood of delay in entering ERM 2 (the European Exchange Rate Mechanism), according to economists from Credit Suisse.

The opinion comes after Sławomir Skrzypek, governor of the central bank, suggested that due to the financial crisis, Poland should postpone the date for adopting the euro. According to Credit Suisse, Poland is more likely to join the eurozone in 2013-2014 rather than 2012, the year the government suggests.
